Golden Moments

I’m not sure why I feel so nostalgic in the fall. Perhaps it’s the reminders in the golden leaves and orange-tinged bushes that we are leaving something behind; it’s a bittersweet time. Summer vacations, warm days, late nights, and rainbow-colored flower gardens are fading memories. But I believe there is promise in the harvest hues of fall – a promise that life gives way to something beautiful when it is shared with others. It is what we are meant to do; it’s how we are to live. Sprinkle life with golden moments. Take time to give to someone else – a word of encouragement, a hug, a smile, or a listening ear. Warm the hues of their life and be blessed.
